Aligning Climate Negotiations.....

The most difficult phase, over the past history of human survival on this planet, is passing through. The climate is fast tipping to the irreversible stage of warming, that may lead to the disastrous collapse of living system of the earth, if not in near future, may be at some moment of time by the turn of the 21st century. Since 1972’s emerging philosophy of Limits of Growth, and the beginning of new consensus on preservation of natural environment arrived at United Nations Conference on Human Environment in Stockholm during Earth Summit of 1972, passing through Earth Summit of 1992 at United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro, and further Kyoto Protocol of 1997 at United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Kyoto and now Climate Negotiation scheduled at COP 15 United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Copenhagen in this December 2009, we are lacking significantly in our approach, direction, and leadership to lead the climate movement, preventing global warming, reversing GHG emissions’ level at agreed base year of 1990, and balancing climate injustice in favor of developing nations & regions against the developed nations and industrial zones of 19th and 20th centuries.

The Clarion call of the moment is to evolve unified consensus to align Climate Negotiations worldwide at COP 15 United Nations Conference on Climate Change in this December 2009, on emerging dimensions of Economic Reforms and Technology Development.
