Leonardo ENERGY has launched a Spanish website aimed at providing information to the Spanish-speaking community of professionals.
More than 440 million people speak Spanish. It is the official language in 21 countries, and is also widely spoken in the US and Brazil. This language represents an enormous cultural, social and economic value. The growing environmental requirements for a sustainable world place these countries in a very relevant position thanks to their natural and renewable resources.

Since
1 January 2007, a
Green Mortgage Programme has been in place to encourage the
construction and
purchase of homes that are
energy-efficient.
Infonavit, an institution that provides credits to workers for home acquisition, is offering and promoting the programme. Infonavit provides increased financing to families purchasing a green home of between MXN 6000 and 8000, equivalent to approximately
USD 720: this can represent an extra bedroom or more spacious home.
The programme
encourages developers to build greener homes as well, and paperwork for developers planning to build energy-efficient homes is simplified.

energy efficiency projects, FIDE, the CFE and various higher
education and research centres, have developed a programme to train
Specialists in Electric Energy Savings.
The Programme plans to train 50 specialists for each state, with an aim of having
1600 trained consultants per region, with the ability to promote up to
9600 projects per year.
